Softcover. Menu. Cover engraving by Malcolm & Hayes. Two quarto sheets folded and string-tied to make four pages. Measuring 7" x 8¼" closed. Front cover with some light staining or foxing, thus very good. In the foxed and worn plain envelope, with the flap separated. The speakers at the meal were former Ambassador to France Myron T. Herrick, General John F. O'Ryan, Admiral Glennon, John H. Finley, and the General himself. A lavishly produced menu for what menu have been an equally lavish banquet honoring the French general, whom history seems to remember as a tactician of questionable ability.
