A handsome little pamphlet advertising *The Gate Beautiful, Cape Cod Ballads, How England Averted a Revolution of Force, Elegies Ancient and Modern, In Nature's Realm*, and *Monks and Monasteries*. Brandt was a progressive-minded reformer who published the works of prominent American naturalists and artists, as well as *The Arena*, an important radical magazine. *OCLC* gives dates of 1900-03 for most titles, but 1921 for *The Gate Beautiful*.
