[2], 771-830pp. Removed from a larger volume, with remnants of the leather binding on the spine and stab holes in the gutters, else bright and near fine, with wide margins and supple paper. Royal act dissolving the Royal African Trading Company of England, which was founded in 1660 and until 1697 maintained a monopoly on English trade with Africa. Prints an account of the Company's possessions, and three schedules of sums paid to various creditors and proprietors. The trade—which included enslaved Africans, most of which were transported to the Caribbean and English colonies in the Americas—was then carried on by the African Company of Merchants.
