Between the Covers

Unbound. Vinyl record. 10" 33 1/3 rpm microgroove vinyl record. Scratched and soiled resulting in some pops and crackle during playback but it remains listenable. Side 1: "Special Radio Featurette John A. Williams." Side 2: "Complete Radio Show (with Hollywood Commentator Dick Strout) Cut #1 - John A. Williams, Cut #2 - :60 Commercial Spot." Garrison System Radio Network 2568. The *New York Times* review of *Captain Blackman* calls it "boldly experimental," and adds, "It may turn out to be among the most important works of fiction of the decade. It is without doubt Williams's most ambitious work." We only know of two copies of this record held by institutions (Bowling Green State and University of Rochester) and this title appears to be unlisted by *Discogs*.
