Volume 1 with a small gift inscription and a bit of foxing on the page edges (mostly confined to the foredge), near fine in very good dust jacket with a few tiny chips, and the rear panel with a few small scratches and a 1¼" creased tear. Volume 2 with just a bit of very light foxing at the page edges, about fine in like jacket, in very good unprinted slipcase with tanning, two long scrapes, and a few short splits (but sound).
