Between the Covers

Unbound. A small collection of Planned Parenthood material spanning the years 1973 to 1975 consisting of five documents and a booklet. Contains discussion materials for board meetings, finances, statistics, and more. Collectively the collection makes up approximately 90 pages of printed material. A detailed list follows.

[Booklet]: "Toward Continued Strengthening of the Planned Parenthood Federation: A Discussion Paper of the Metropolitan Executive Directors Council (MEXDICO), May 1975" - approximately 50pp. - stapled wrappers - illustrated with graphs - name of Adelaide Jacquet written on the front wrapper - minor edgewear, very good - Laid in is a Memorandum dated July 18, 1975 asking recipients to read the booklet and to be ready to discuss it at the upcoming fall meetings - orange paper printed on the recto only - "A. Jacquet" in marker at the top.

[Document]: "Quarterly Report: January 1 to March 31, 1974" - eight pages printed on the recto only stapled together in the top left corner - pages measure 8½" x 11" - browning, minor edgewear, very good.

[Document]: Memorandum dated July 22, 1974 announcing the 1973 Annual Report - attached is a Statistical Report Feedback Form - two pages printed on the recto only stapled together in the top left corner - pages measure 8½" x 11" - browning, minor edgewear, very good.

Adelaide Jacquet (Julia Adelaide Walker-Jacquet) grew up in Augusta, GA and attended Atlanta University for both her undergraduate and graduate studies. She went on to work for the Riverdale Children's Association in New York for 31 years before retiring in 1975.
