Between the Covers

Unbound. Vintage chromolithograph illustration on stiff cardboard. Tiny production code in lower margin: "7784." Measures approximately 6" x 8¼". Margins seem very slightly uneven but doesn't appear to be trimmed, else about fine. A Black mother sits in a craftsman-style chair in an orange dress and reads to her children, in bright white clothing. An illustration apparently rendered from a photograph. We are unable to identify the source of this image, but very nice, and clearly vintage.
