Between the Covers

Unbound. Gelatin silver carte de visite photograph. Image measuring approximately 2¼" x 3¾" on a slightly larger card mount. Neither the subjects or the photographer is identified, but obtained with a group of images from Texas, and likely from the same location. Small, very faint stain on mount, image the least bit lightened, near fine. Full-length image of an unidentified African-American woman - likely in her 20s, smiling and seated, wearing a print dress and holding a White baby balanced on the arm of her chair. An excellent image.
