Hardcover. First edition. Octavo. x, 207pp. Owner name and stamp of a noted American psychologist on the front fly, and a small portion of the bottom page edges near the spine evenly toned (not affecting the interior), still easily fine in a very good dust jacket toned at the spine and edges of the rear panel, with the rear panel a bit rubbed and a very very small chips and tears. Laid in is a one-page mimeographed sheet on The New York City Medical Society on Alcoholism (New York Academy of Medicine) stationery, announcing their 1961 Symposium. The theme was "The Problem of Skid Row," and brief information on the three speakers are given. (The psychologist who formerly owned the book has noted in ink that one of the speakers, Victor J. LoCicero, was a former student of his). A presentable copy.
