Hardcover. Fourth (and stated "Forward") edition. Quarto. 1,391, [51] pp. Text in both Hebrew and Yiddish, bound and paginated in that style. Embossed black cloth over boards, titled in gilt. Owner name and stamp of noted Jewish-American psychologist Henry Guze on the front fly, and a nice gift inscription to him and his wife ("Knowing that your past experiences included a good Yiddish background...") facing the title page. Light tanning on the flyleaves and spine gilt a touch dulled, still a bright, fine copy in the worn and slightly misfolded good or better dust jacket (printed spine only), with small chips and tears (mostly along the topedge), rear panel with some shallow abrading, and the rear flap separated. A very nice copy, presumably extremely uncommon in jacket.
