[Broadside]: Does He Make You Mad? Scared? Guilty?... Does He Make You Think? Sure you hate violence. Any responsible American does, white or black...

New York: NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, [circa 1969].

Price: $1,000.00

Unbound. Large newsprint broadside. 16" x 24". Folds as issued. Pencil name on the verso (of someone who harvested broadside in Madison, Wisconsin) and a small pencil squiggle in the top margin, faint toning on the paper and very tiny tears at the edges of a few folds, near fine. Stated "As advertised in The New York Times". Nearly two-thirds of the broadside depicts a presumably radical young Black man wearing a leather jacket brandishing a Molotov cocktail, and looking pretty determined. Text solicits funds and support for the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, explains their mission to provide legal representation to those who cannot otherwise afford it, and lists various distinguished supporters. Very scarce. *OCLC* locates a single copy, in the Midwest.
