Hardcover. 17 volumes. 16mo. Each volume is around 300 pages. Each volume has an engraved frontispiece and an engraved half-title, some have black and white illustrations/engravings. Brown cloth boards decoratively stamped in blind with gilt along the spines, each volume with an abbreviated version of the title in gilt on the spine. Boards and spine show some wear, hinges starting on *Asiatic History*, overall very good or better. The authorship of each volume is credited to "Peter Parley's Tales," which was written by Samuel G. Goodrich. We do not know how many titles were originally released for this set (we think maybe 20) but the titles present are as follows:
