Signed by the author: "Gratefully yours Dorothy Day." An autobiography that covers Day's birth in California, education in Chicago, reporting for *The New York Call*, work for the Socialist party, and her conversion to the Roman Catholic faith. Books signed by Day are become increasingly difficult to find.
