American artist and educator Lois Mailou Jones married Haitian artist Louis Vergniaud Pierre-Noel in the south of France in 1953, and they spent much of their life in Haiti afterwards. This announcement was printed a little over two months after their marriage, likely for distribution to Pierre-Noelle's circle in Haiti, or for a celebration there. Presumably rare.
