Softcover. First edition. 76pp. Pictorial wrappers. Penciled underlining and notations throughout, a few small stains on the rear wrap, tiny tear at the foot of the spine, very good. Signed by Goldberg above his printed name on the last page. A discography assembled by then senior student at Columbia University Bill Goldberg that includes everything played during the festival along with items that weren't broadcast during the marathon. Goldberg was the jazz disc jockey at WKCR-FM, the University's non-commerical radio station. For ten weeks he worked on creating a non-stop, eight-day, 24 hour a day, 200 hour tribute to the great drummer Max Roach that ran from March 9-17, 1981. Includes "Max Roach In His Own Words", a five page excerpt from an interview he did at the station for the festival. Scarce.
