Between the Covers

Unbound. Stereograph card. 7" x 3.25". Two identical gelatin silver photographs mounted on thick orange card stock. Photographer name and place printed on a separate leaf of paper affixed to verso. Image about fine; photographer information sheet is scuffed and scraped from being removed from an album, but is mostly readable. Dated 1876 in ink on recto. Image of nine men, most in uniform, mostly standing and with "KUA" on the bibbs of most of the shirts, with baseball equipment evident in the image. The image reportedly taken at Meridian, N.H. A nice early baseball team image.
