[CD]: George Bennette in Recital 1961-1977 [gifted by Composer and Pianist Louise Talma]
New York: Seth B. Winner Sound Studios / Digital House, [1994?].
Price: $100.00
Unbound. Compact disc. Fine in jewel case; the CD appears unplayed. Gifted by composer and pianist Louise Talma to a friend in May, 1994 with a handwritten card and mailing envelope present. Geroge Bennette was a blind, North Carolina-born pianist; in these recordings he plays the work of Chopin, Stravinsky, Gluck-Sgambati, Ravel, Faure?, and Albe?niz. What appears to be an uncommon CD, and with a nice association.
