Between the Covers

Unbound. Baseball ticket, measuring 3¼" x 2". Light soiling, verso with abrasions and large section of glue residue from being pasted down, thus good only. A ticket from a high school baseball game held between Utica Free Academy and Rome Free Academy at Riverside Park in Rome, New York, on Wednesday, May 11th. May 11th landing on a Wednesday in 1910, and again in 1921. We have found another ticket with the same "Base Ball" type, dated 1916, so it is equally likely this game was held in either 1910 or 1921.
