Between the Covers

Unbound. 12 gelatin silver photographs. Each is 10" x 8". Each image has an attached explanation of each scene. Tiny tears or nicks on the margins of a couple of the photographs else is each very near fine. The Chronicles of America photoplays were a series of playscripts that were used for motion picture adaptations of select books from the magisterial Chronicles of America book series from Yale University Press. This series of a dozen stills mostly depicts battle scenes from the Battle of Quebec. Artifacts from an interesting historical project.
