A photo album compiled by Zina Moshisky between 1910 and 1913. The first page features a handwritten title reading “Zina Moshisky, Her Book of Face.” It also includes a note which reads, “Christmas 1912 from my dear friend Eldora Bingham.” Moshisky documents her family and friend throughout the album including her time at North Denver High. She writes humorous and tongue-in-cheek captions under many of the photos such as “Look out! Your face will freeze that way”; “No fair, I wasn’t ready!”; and “I tried to look haughty!” Moshisky and her friends belonged to a club they called the “FFF Club” that hiked and had themed parties such as a “kid party” where they all dressed like young girls.

Zina Mohisky was born in Kansas where her father had emigrated from Russia. The family moved to Colorado where her father started a ranch.

A nice collection of images documenting a young woman's life in Colorado in the 1910s.
