Small chip in bottom corner of front wrap, modest toning on the wrappers, very good. Neatly tipped into the book is a handwritten letter dated 1915 from Charles Malicky of Oketo, Kansas to Mr. O. J. Frisby of Lena, Illinois, sending the book and asking for help in selling the book to assist the author, a "poor but honest and hard worker." An interesting and very uncommon travel narrative, rich in observational detail. *OCLC* locates a single copy (University of Nebraska at Kearney).
