Measuring approximately 10" x 13¼". xvii, 722pp. Full polished leather by Hans Asper (stamped on the verso of the front fly) elaborately stamped in blind with spine titled in gilt and gilt turn-ins, marbled endleaves, topedge gilt. Ex-library with a spine label and small stamp on a front blank but no other markings. Binding with modest general wear and some spotting, bottom edge with some rubbing, upper hinge with a thin split but sound, overall a bright, very good or better copy of a handsome production. The text and images are fine.
