Between the Covers

Unbound. Partial pamphlet with photograph. Approximately 6" x 3.5". Mounted on a card leaf, likely the front board of a photo album or scrap book. Captioned in white album ink: "Storer Football Team 1942". Image very near fine. Depiction of 21 players in full football uniforms; and four more in ties (three in jackets, likely coaches; and another in sweater, likely a student), all seemingly African-American. The thin card image folds down to reveal that it was harvested by a scrapbooker from a promotional pamphlet for the school.
