Foxing on endleaves, preliminary pages and foredge, light rubbing on bottom edge of boards, very good in a very good dust jacket with toning, small chips and tears, and foxing. Inscribed by the author on the front fly: "Marie and Jimmy Killilea with affectionate regards and gratitude for their kindness at my lecture. Roy Campbell." The Killilea's formed the Cerebral Palsy Foundation of Westchester and the Karen Foundation. Marie later cofounded the National Cerebral Palsy Foundation, and in 1952 wrote the book *Karen* about their daughter's struggles and triumph over Cerebral Palsy. She also wrote a sequel *With Love From Karen* in 1963, both of which were bestsellers.
