Boldly Signed by Langston Hughes beneath his printed name. Hughes was a special guest at the presentation and presented his address: "The Negro in the Field of Art and Drama." An interesting event, it also featured sculpture by Augusta Savage and Meta Warwick Fuller, musical and dramatic performances, and art by Allan Rohan Crite, William Lewis, and many others. Also, there was a reception for Hughes given by the Book Lovers Club where they presented their Annual Negro History Quiz.
