Unbound. Half-tone portrait of Anne Douglas Sedgwick reproduced from a photograph, measuring 2.5” x 3.5” on unprinted cardstock mount. The image depicts Anne Douglas Sedgwick facing the camera from the shoulders up. Signed by Anne Douglas Sedgwick, on the cardstock mount beneath the image. Mount has thin line of tanning at top edge, verso has small surface tear and remnant of paper label, else very good, with the image in near fine condition. Sedgwick was an American-born British writer. She returned to England at the age of 9, and went on to marry English writer Basil de Selincourt in 1908. She wrote several best-selling novels and plays [see Blain, *Feminist Companion to Literature in English,* p. 960].
