Top and bottom edges of boards lightly toned and a couple of tiny faint stains on the topedge, near fine in a toned and lightly soiled, very good dust jacket with slight loss at the folds. Inscribed on the front fly to noted English poet Geoffrey Hill and his wife: "For Geoffrey Hill + Nancy Hill, with love from both of us, Don. August 27, 1958, Ann Arbor." Donald Hall was the first person to publish Hill's poems while Hill was a student at Oxford and they maintained a long friendship. An excellent association.
