Corners and spine ends rubbed, spine ends gently bumped and one tiny spot of rubbing on the front cover, bright and very good or better in publisher's near very good unprinted acetate dust jacket with several small chips and an approximately 3" tear on the front panel. Inscribed by Rebecca Salsbury James to bibliographer Donald Gallup on the front blank: "For Donald, with continuing delight in knowing you, Rebecca. Taos, N.M.- 1966- June." Benrimo's black and white photographs of gravestones and grave crosses are nicely reproduced.
