[Broadside]: The Signal Hill Benevolent & Misanthropic Society Proudly Announces Its Grand Valentine Happening.... Go gay! With a dazzling discotheque of Sound and Sartorial Splendour

Freetown (Sierra Leone): 1968.

Price: $750.00

Hardcover. Broadside. Approximately 17.5" x 22." Printed in red on thin pink paper. Vignette of dancing couple. Some irregular folds and modest creases, still a nice, very good example. Addressed on the verso in marker to Mr. & Mrs. Klaus Baumann of the local automobile dealership Brewo Motors. Sierra Leone was an exciting place in 1968, with a series of military coups and counter-coups. But they still, apparently, had time to dance. It's doubtful that the flimsy paper broadside survived in great numbers.
