One of the albums begins with a hand drawn map of the plane travel taken to Korean in 1953. Following this are images of the airport, a Korean town, pagodas, and uniformed men, both American and Korean, under Patridge’s command. The local people are also photographed with images showing school children walking to school and young women talking with officers. Other images show men loading a large weapon, a military band, and Patridge posed by the sign for the headquarters of the operation. Soldiers are seen digging trenches, piling sandbags, and setting up barbed wire. The second album contains Army Press Photographs from Patridge’s career including going away parties, presentation of troops, and portraits. Additionally included is a handmade birthday card to Patridge and a certificate from the mayor of Seoul.
