Tacoma, Wash. Photo by Boland, 1916.

Price: $850.00

Unbound. Sepia-toned gelatin silver panoramic photograph. Approximately 49" x 8". Rolled. Very near fine. Majestic panorama showing an extensive tent encampment, massive wooden corrals for horses, supply trains and railroad tracks, and the cities of El Paso and Juarez in the distance. The Mexican Border War had escalated by early 1916, and in May of that year, Woodrow Wilson ordered National Guard units to reinforce the border. This is an unusually striking panorama.
