Hardcover. First edition. Faint bend on first few leaves, probably a printing error, else fine in fine dustwrapper with a tiny tear. Seemingly feminist-themed novel of a young woman with a rich bloodline who flees her debauched home to settle in Boston with "a young woman adventurer in sociology." At 18 she marries a man of wealth and collector of beautiful things, but proves himself unworthy of her. Very scarce especially in jacket.
