A travel photo album following a couple’s trips to various places in the mid-west during 1984. The album begins with a typed itinerary of each place visited, with the distance traveled, and phone number of the location. The couple starts in Fredericktown, Missouri and travels around the Midwest before arriving at their final destination, Glacier Park, Montana. Some of the states they visited along the way include Michigan, Minnesota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Idaho, Colorado, and Utah. The pictures are mostly landscape and shots of nature and landmarks, which include a statue of Paul Bunyan and Babe, the Blue Ox, Dinosaurland in Virginia, and the Badlands, known for its moon like landscape on earth. The photographs are mostly candids but are well composed and show the aesthetically pleasing colors and scenery of the mid-west such as the setting sun over the horizon and colorful sunset and sunrise skies. Many of the posed couple shots and group shots show people sitting or standing by the various landmarks. There are several pages dedicated to both Yellowstone Park in Wyoming and Mount Rushmore in South Dakota with full shots of the national landmarks. Towards the end of the album, there are black and white photos of Glacier Park paired with the new color photos from when the couple had traveled to the park a couple decades before.
