Unbound. Approximately 200 loose black and white gelatin silver photographs measuring around 4 " x 2¾" with some captions. Photos generally very good, a fair amount with evidence of album removal on verso. An assortment of photos showing African American family life in Virginia with many showing well dressed joyous people mugging for the camera around their homes, school, places of business and before formal events. A couple dozen include men in uniform one of which shows a young man posed between two pretty girls. The captioned photos are humorous such as "oh boy! What a kiss!," and "taking it easy," above a girl lounging in a field.
