Softcover. Small oblong octavo. 8" x 5.75". String-tied stiff wrappers with "Old Maid Sketches from Bachelor's Hall" in ink and with ink sketches on the front wrap. A little smudging, some photos slightly faded, overall near fine. Contains nine albumen images, each 4.75" x 3.75", and each is captioned. Images of a small group on vacation near Westport, Massachusetts (identified by an image of the lightship "Hen and Chickens" which was stationed by the Hen and Chickens Reef near Westport). Other subjects are group shots on the beach, sailing, and meditative pictures of young women on the shore. A modest but handsome group of photograpsh.
