Softcover. Seconda Edizione Italiana. Four volumes. 24mos? Each measuring 3.5" x 5.25". Irregularly paginated, but appears complete. Frontispiece illustrations in three of the four volumes, presumably lacking frontispiece in Volume I. Original printed paper wrappers with wastepaper endpapers. Mild erosion on the spines, particularly of Volume IV, small stain on front wrap of Volume III, some foxing and wear at the edge of the untrimmed leaves, but a sound very good set in a remarkable state of preservation. *OCLC* locates a single set (American Antiquarian Society, noting the irregular pagination, but calling for a total of four frontispiece plates). Rare.
