The author's second book, and the first of her novels to feature her protagonist Beebo Brinker. Bannon wrote a handful of novels on lesbian themes, and then retired from the writing scene to become a successful, and for a time a married college administrator. Most of her books, all paperback originals, were re-released decades later by the Cleis Press in their series of lesbian pulp fiction classics.
