A group photograph of the roughly 225 member of the Masons of the Atlantic Fleet docked in Boston, Massachusetts while preparing to embark on their annual trip to Guantanomo City, Cuba in April of 1920. The photo shows the crew anticipating the trip with some smiling, some somber, and others sleeping, or perhaps just a mistimed blink. Cuba was used at this time by the Navy for training exercises and target practice.
