Harrison High
New York: Rinehart, (1959).

Hardcover. First edition. Pages toned as always, else near fine in very good or better dustwrapper with a tear at the crown. First novel by a twenty-two year old. A bestselling and risque (for its time) novel about the precocious students in a Midwestern high school; this was the basis for the 1960 film *Because They're Young* featuring among others, Tuesday Weld and Dick Clark (in his first film appearance portraying someone other than himself). Farris went on to amass something of a cult following for his numerous horror novels, including *The Fury*.
