Original drypoint etching and color aquatint engraving (approximately 8.25 x 6.25 inches), printed on thick wove paper (17 x 13 inches). Copy number 31 of 250 printed. Uniform toning to the outer margins only, else fine. Signed by the artist in pencil just below the plate mark edge. The artist's name cannot be identified. A pencil note on the bottom margin adds: "(Salon 1920)" after the title, and an ink stamp on the back gives the provenance: "Galerie Lutetia, H. Lavallard, Art Publisher, 1416 Broadway, New York City." A beautiful rendering of the Colmar Cathedral (Collégiale Saint-Martin) at dusk. A bright early impression with the black drypoint burr and aquatint color well-preserved.
