(Hong Kong): [no publisher, circa 1987].
Hardcover. Oblong large octavo. Full green calf with applied (probably sterling) silver plaque of a golfing scene. Plaque a little tarnished (easily remedied, we imagine), else fine. The silver plaque depicts a 19th Century scene of a man teeing off, a woman golfer looking on, and two caddies. We are not metallurgists, but the plaque has four convincing hallmarks. Book gives a history of the Open, and provides (unused) round reports to be filled in by hand. Presumably scarce, we've not seen another with the applied plaque.
