Burbank: Alert Agency, 4/28/55.
Softcover. Teleplay. Small quarto. Bradbound mimeographed sheets of white with stiff blue sheets interspersed. Three holes are punched on the left side but only one brad is used to secure them, some wear to front wrap and some tears and chips to the rear, else near fine. The script has many pencil corrections, additions and stage directions throughout. Lux Video Theater, which ran from 1950 - 1957, adapted movies for the small screen. The teleplay is an adaptation of the 1940 Preston Sturges' film of the same name about a mob-connected mayoral candidate who has a changes heart. It's adapted by the author who later won the 1965 Oscar for Best Screenplay for *Father Goose*.
