The House at Pooh Corner

London: Methuen, 1928.

Sold

Hardcover. First edition. Decorations by E.H. Shepard. Offsetting from the jacket flaps else fine in very near fine dustwrapper with a couple of tiny nicks at the crown, and a little subtle tanning to the spine. A book in which we learn the derivation of the game of Poohsticks; it is shown that Tiggers don't climb trees; and ultimately we leave Pooh and Christopher Robin in an enchanted place. Or perhaps it's the other way around. A lovely copy.
