Eve's Daughters Compiled by a Mere Man and Portrayed by Arthur G. Learned Second printing, two months after the first. Near fine with a spot of soiling to the front board and along the top edge and a neat gift inscription on the half title. Housed in an original color illustrated box in very good or better condition. Signed and numbered (87) by Learned. Laid in is a postcard depicting the Buddhist temple installed in the artist's garden, Brucehaven, apparently in the hand of Learned's wife and sometime collaborator, Leila. Also laid in is a newspaper clipping about the temple with notes in an unknown hand. A very attractive signed copy of this handsomely produced work, seldom seen in this condition. [BTC #348346] |
