A one-hour pilot for TV, the series ran from 1983-4, and starred Ralph Waite, who commissioned the pilot. Waite played a big-city lawyer who opted for a simpler life aboard a Mississippi tug boat, but was still able to use his legal acumen to aide river folk in need on a weekly basis. Ex-Carter Burden.
