Marlboro, MA: Marlboro Hospital, 1899.
Softcover. Stapled stiff card covers. Tall octavo. 4pp. A little scraping on the rear wrap, where the card was mounted in an album, but with no significant loss, some age-toning, a very good example. Humorous scorecard for a benefit game between doctors and merchants to benefit the Marlboro Hospital. Silly woodcuts, a long list of facetious ground rules ("Should the opposing players get to throwing bricks and other hard missiles at each other the audience are requested to keep quiet. It should be remembered that patients must be had for the hospital, no matter where they come from..."), and baseball oriented advertisements from local merchants.
