New York: A.L. Burt, (1930).
Reprint. A tiny, faint stain at the bottom of the first couple of leaves, else fine in an attractive, good plus dustwrapper with several small chips, tears, and internal repairs. A pleasing copy of this reprint of the author's exceptionally uncommon fourth book, the reprint itself is exceptionally uncommon. Powell was a prolific and well-regarded, but, until a relatively recent and well-deserved revival, mostly forgotten author. For forty years she was a valued jewel of the New York literary world and if you read her books it's easy to see why. Any jacketed copy of this title and of this vintage is very scarce.
