A Western at least partially ghostwritten by Larry McMurtry for the young-adult market. This copy Inscribed by Ophelia Ray: "Best wishes to the boys and girls of Miss Jenning's Room. Ophelia Ray." Laid in is a certificate to the Texas Readers Club made out to a fourth grader – this book was apparently the recipient's prize.
