Jean Toomer’s copy, with a presentation inscription from Teller on the front free endpaper: "For Jean who was born on Boxing Day – one of the nicest in the year, we think – and who has shared them with us – with egg-nog. Affectionately, June & Walter. 26 Dec 54." Toomer was born on Boxing Day (December 26th) in 1894.
