Duke the prizefighter has promised his wife he'll never fight again, but must to save his father-in-law's business. The second novel about The Duke, this one the basis for the 1949 George Blair-directed film, *The Duke of Chicago* featuring Tom Brown, Audrey Long, Grant Withers, and Paul Harvey.
